My good friend Lori and I exchange photo sessions when we get a chance…..and it’s been almost two years since her first maternity photos and the subsequent newborn photos of her sweet son! Time flies! So there we were, on a crazy humid late afternoon last Sunday, with me reminding Lori that there’s
no little chance that her son is going to sit for the camera – it’s normal. Totally N.O.R.M.A.L. Unless a child of almost two is confined to some type of holding vessel or is in a parent’s death grip LOL, they are going to run, play, not look at the camera, cry, scream, run some more, cry, scream again, and then become completely and officially over the entire ordeal.
Oh did I mention that it was insanely humid?
We had lots of fun – and it was SO nice doing a session off the beach and working with all of the natural light reflectors that the college buildings provided! But most of all, it was immensely wonderful working with such a good friend and being able to have fun, to laugh, and to just be ourselves.
I am soooo looking forward to meeting her baby girl and to capture them as a new family of four. :) Wishing you a beautiful delivery, Lori! xo
