Category Archives: Food & Recipes Back in January, 14 other photographers and I from The Bloom Forum got together to form a Project 52 group to challenge ourselves creatively by posting an image every week according to a theme. We’re still at it – this is week 18 already! It’s fun and I love seeing each of our individual interpretations…  Oh, wow, this is GOOD dish! I received a new Crock Pot as a Christmas present from my parents, and boy did I need one. My previous one was so old, and the dial was missing its knob, so I was never quite sure if it was on “High” or “Low” or somewhere in between! …  Better known simply as “Stacey’s Ribs.” This phrase was coined by my friend Becky after I served them (for the grown-ups) at my son’s 6th birthday party almost six years ago. Becky’s husband, Mike, attended the party – raved about the ribs, and I gave him the recipe to bring home. People who know me…  14 other photographers and I from The Bloom Forum embarked on a weekly journey in early January to photograph a theme-inspired image according to our individual interpretations of that theme. It’s been so interesting to travel through our blog circle every Sunday to see the images that the others have posted, including last week’s theme…  When The Market was open across the street, my husband and I would buy several containers of this couscous a week – yes, it was that good and we never tired of it. It is a recipe that Dawn diLorenzo, one of The Market’s owners, had in her repertoire of recipes that were handed down…
