Bloom Forum Project 52 | Week 7 | Theme: Something Hot or Cold | Longboat Key Photographer

14 other photographers and I from The Bloom Forum embarked on a weekly journey in early January to photograph a theme-inspired image according to our individual interpretations of that theme.  It’s been so interesting to travel through our blog circle every Sunday to see the images that the others have posted, including last week’s theme of Black and White where several of us posted images of our four-legged friends.

This week’s theme is “Something Hot or Cold.”  I jumped on this one right away last Sunday after publishing my Black and White post because I had just made homemade chicken soup for my son who had a cold.  I managed to capture the steam coming off the soup due to the contrast of light and dark in the image and post-processed using black and white with sepia tones.

If you would like to see the previous weeks’ themes and images, please click HERE.  As always, the other 14 photographers have our blogs linked together to form a circle.  Please continue on to see what Amy Lucy | Twin Cities Newborn, Baby, and Children’s Photographer has in store for us today!  (I’ve already peeked and it’s a gorgeous photo!)  If you stop by a blog and like someone’s photo, please feel free to leave a comment – we love them!
